Aries

Aries makes their presence felt. Even their gait and manner suggest an attitude of "Here I come!". Their bodies and minds are finely attuned to their immediate environment, this gives them a sense of urgency and the confidence that they can handle whatever happens.

These people are prepared to take on anything or anyone around them. They are so lacking in fear that often they will take great physical or professional risks to carry out the most ordinary tasks. Their friends may ask, "Is it worth it?" Aries will reply: "It is if I do it!"

They are fiercely self-reliant. Never are these people prepared to sit back and let life come to them. They are the self starters of the zodiac, men and women who create their own destiny and are often followed by the multitude. They have great faith in their stamina, their survival power. They love nothing more than action, especially if it involves challenges and dares.

Aries is often more idealistic than practical. They can quickly be talked into supporting hopeless causes, particularly if they see themselves as the rallying point. Their imaginations are extremely active — new ideas and schemes crowd their minds, often forcing them to abandon pending projects for new ones. Once a project catches their imagination though, their enthusiasm is unlimited. But a desire for instant results makes them ignore proper planning and detail.

Impatience is a major flaw. Aries tends to have a quick temper. Feelings of frustration or indignation can trigger immediate action, sometimes anger or even violence. But such rages are short lived. When temper subsides, they are not too skilled at coping with subtler situations. Masters of action and direct thought, they are bewildered by the less direct and the more emotional sides of life. Their hearts and feelings are vulnerable.

Sensitive to the self, but insensitive to others is more the rule than the exception. Thoughtless actions and blunt words often hurt the people they care for most. Such behaviour can bring loss or regret. Yet Aries can take the bitterest of blows and start all over again.

There's something rather ingenious about Aries: because this is the first sign of the zodiac, rams represent the babies of the celestial sky. Sometimes they're so naïve and innocent it's astounding, and they'll dash off and say or do something reckless. They are full of fire, fun, vivacity, verve, and virility.
