Taurus

Taurus is slow to start, but long and strong on the finish. They are particularly tenacious. Once they decide to take on a project, they can be counted on to complete it. The quality of follow through makes them desirable workers and partners.

You always know where you stand with Taurus. They are renowned for their straightforward and honest approach. But it isn't always easy to get them to change their mind once it is made up. They can be very stubborn. Strongly opinionated too, they do not sheepishly follow what other people say.

Like their symbol, the Bull, Taurus usually have powerful constitutions which enable them to work long stretches at a time without tiring. And, like the Bull, they resent being pushed or pressurised. Methodical and deliberate, they plod along at their own pace. In one day Taurus can achieve more than flashy and dynamic types.

Loyalty is an outstanding characteristic of Taurus. Once they give their word, their heart, or their hand, they would rather suffer than let a person down. And suffer sometimes they do. Their loyalty can land them in tricky situations. But even when betrayed, they refuse to acknowledge it until the fact is driven home in a painful way.

Taurus is uncomfortable with doubts and insecurities, so much so that they prefer to shut their eyes to difficult realities. They are reluctant to doubt the sincerity of loved ones and friends. They find it hard to make decisions and try to avoid radical changes. They try to leave nothing to chance and are not the gambling types. Security in all its forms means more than virtually anything else.

Taurus likes to surround themselves with solid possessions. Being an Earth Sign they express their fondness for beautiful things in practical ways. They are good with their hands and have an eye for colour, design, and texture. Taurus loves their homes and take great pride in their families. Their sense of possessiveness dominates the people in their life, and they are capable of jealous rages which truly are something to behold!
